The Acid Principles

The Acid Principles / eponymous / Library Science Records 00004 / 2005

Formed by way of an online collaboration between Berklee School of Music heads and members of the elite, and secretive, Paraneurological Research Collective at MIT, The Acid Principles paved the way for the genre now known as Wankpsycke. This, their eponymous first full-length release, meanders in places, especially during the 17 1/2-minute set closer, "Key, Key, Who's Got the Key (Your Brain is Light)", but the base elements of industrial, 80's guitar gods, and prog chanting are more than evident in this rough but ground-breaking album.

Tree-Blogging in ARTNews this month

Back in January, I included work posted on the Famous Album Covers blog as part of a social media performance/art event ("Tree-Blogging") that I was coordinating with @Platea.  That project is briefly discussed in an article on social media art in ARTNews this month. ¡Dónde leches habré puesto la democracia?

Ahora es el momento de encontrarla entre todos, ¿nos ayudas?

¿Hasta cuándo? No te sientes ¡LUCHA!

Me siento vacío, nos roban, se adjudican todos los benefícios que escatiman al pueblo y nosotros seguimos sentados, excusándonos en las formas, en la imposibilidad de conseguir nada...entregando nuestras vidas...

¿HASTA CUÁNDO?

Ayer estuve en la acampada de una ciudad de 60.000 habitantes, me cuentan que unas 120 personas están pasando por el "campamento" de manera habitual...muy triste.

Ayer, en el tiempo que estuve no fuimos más de 40 (siendo generoso), pero la gente paseaba por la plaza, con sus niños y niñas, como si la situación del país fuera normal...triste.

Creo que ha llegado la hora de dejarse de excusas, hay quien habla sobre las maneras, hay quien habla de "perro-flautas", hay quien dice que es un movimiento de izquierdas...no le quito la razón a nadie (tampoco se la doy, habría que hablar lugar por lugar), pero ¿a que todos estamos de acuerdo con el mal hacer de nuestros políticos independientemente de las siglas a las que representen?

Estás cansado de;

* No ver a los senadores en su puesto.

* Estás cansado de escuchar que tenemos cientos de asesores de asesores.

* Estás harto de coches oficiales en pueblos que se recorren en dos minutos.

* Te parece ilógico que un presidente cobre un sueldo vitalicio mientras cobra de otros dos o tres o cuatro lugares más.

Pues contra todo eso y mucho más hay que luchar, si no te gusta este movimiento hazlo desde otro, asociaciones a las que pertenezcas, aquellas con las que te sientas más identificado, aquellas con las que las personas que acuden tienen tu edad e inquietudes, pero ¡LUCHA!

* Manda emails a tus amigos, creemos una bola que llegue a los partidos.

* Firma aquellas cuestiones con las que estés de acuerdo.

* Genera propuestas.

HAZ ALGO, PERO NO TE EXCUSES, NO SIENTES!
