Everybody Loves Robots: S/T

Everybody Loves Robots! (ELR) are an American alternative rock band who began as a duo of Joe Farley and Joe Learner. The band currently includes Jerry Jones, Pip Carnes, and Mary Wilton. Formed in 1987, they are best known for an unconventional and experimental style of alternative music. The group has found success on the modern rock and CMJ charts, in the children's music genre, and in theme music for several television programs and films.

ELR's best-known songs include Killer Robots of Egypt and their cover version of If I Had a Hammer (both from the 1990 self-titled album, Everybody Loves Robots!). Their two appearances on the television show Futurama also brought attention to their songs Bend Me, Bender and Robot Lover. Two ELR albums have been certified platinum: Everybody Loves Robots! and the 2006 children's music album Robots Didn't Evolve from Monkeys.
